Ashirwad Marble

Ashirwad Marble has been operating out of the Rajsamand Morchana area for quite some time now. It is a busy place where the sound of stone cutting machines never really stops during the daylight hours. Most days start early when the sun is just coming up over the hills around the yard. We spend a lot of time moving heavy slabs around and making sure everything is stacked where it should be. The dust is just part of the life here, you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to stay back to get them loaded so they can make their delivery on time. It is not fancy work but it keeps us busy. My family has been around these parts for a long time and we know the stone quite well. People come by looking for different types of marble and we show them what is available in the shed. There is always something to do, whether it is cleaning the machines or talking to the drivers who come in from all over. The office is small and usually has some papers scattered about, but we know where everything is. If you are driving through Morchana you will probably see our sign. It is a straightforward business and we just try to get the work done as best as we can without making too much of a fuss.
