Apsara Marble

We spend most of our time here at Bhagwanda Khurd. If you know the stretch along N. H. 8, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks passing through. Apsara Marble is situated right where the road curves a bit. Usually, it is quite dusty by midday, especially when we are moving things around the yard. It is a simple setup we have here. Nothing fancy. My cousin and I usually handle the inventory ourselves. We have been in this spot for a while now. Some days it is quiet and we just sit by the office door watching the traffic go toward the city. Other days, the phone does not stop ringing. People stop by because they saw the sign from the highway. We show them what is in stock. It is mostly just heavy lifting and making sure the measurements are right. The sun gets pretty hot out on the stone, so we try to get the big loads moved early in the morning before it gets unbearable. We don't really have a big staff, just a few local guys who help out with the cutting and loading. It is hard work but it keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on getting the slabs organized. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on N. H. 8. That’s just how it goes here in Bhagwanda Khurd. We just keep the yard open and wait for the next load to arrive.
