Ambica Marble

We’re located right on N. H. 8 in Morchana, so you might have seen us if you’ve driven that way. Ambica Marble is basically a big yard full of marble and stone right by the highway. Being on the main road makes it easy for the big trucks to pull in and out, which is a good thing because we move a lot of weight every day. It’s a noisy place with the traffic passing by and the machines running, but you get used to it after a while. We don't spend much time in the office; usually, we’re out among the slabs showing people what we have in stock. The sun hits the marble and makes it really bright out there, so we’re usually wearing hats and trying to stay in the shade when we can. Working with marble is tough on the hands and the back, but it's what we know how to do. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or any of that. If someone wants to see what we have, they usually just pull off the highway and take a look around for themselves. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business. Morchana has a lot of places like ours, so we just try to keep our yard organized and be helpful when someone stops by to ask about a certain block or tile. It’s a long day out there in the heat, but that is the nature of the work we have chosen for ourselves.
