About Ajmera Marble & Granites – Building & Construction Material in Rajsamand
Working at Ajmera Marble & Granites on the Nathdwara Road in Badarda means being around a lot of heavy machinery. We have both marble and granite here, so there is always a variety of stuff to move around. The granite is heavier and sometimes harder to handle than the marble. Our yard is right on N. H. 8, so it’s easy for the big trucks to pull in and out. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. My hands are always rough from touching the stone. We don't have a big corporate office. It's just a room with a table and some chairs where we talk to people. We get customers from all over, some just building a small house and some doing bigger jobs. We show them around the piles, explain why one piece looks different from another, and figure out the loading. The noise from the road is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We try to keep things moving so the inventory doesn't just sit there getting covered in dirt. Sometimes we have a nice chat with the truck drivers who bring the blocks from the quarries. It's a straightforward business. We buy the stone, we keep it here, and then we sell it to whoever needs it for their project. No big mystery to it, just keeping track of the slabs and the granite pieces.
