Adinath Marbles

Out here in Badarada on N. H. No 8, we have our small setup for Adinath Marbles. It's basically a big open space where we keep all the marble blocks and slabs we get from the quarries. There isn't much to the office, just a desk and some chairs where we sit with customers and drink tea. We spend most of our time outside anyway. The ground is always covered in white stone chips. I’ve been doing this since I was young, so I know a good piece of stone when I see one. We get a lot of local builders coming through. They know we stay in one place and don't move around. It's a tough job moving these heavy pieces, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy. We use the old crane we've had for years. It still works fine if you treat it right. We don't do much marketing. Most people find us because they saw the stacks of stone from the road. We try to keep a variety of colors, but mostly it's the standard local stuff that people like for their homes. My nephew helps me with the phone calls and orders. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and go home. That is what Adinath Marbles is about. Just a simple yard with good stone and honest talk between neighbors and travelers.
