Abhilasha Marble Pvt Ltd is based out of Morchana, right along the N H-8. Being near the highway makes it easier for the trucks to come and go. We deal with marble stones all day long. The yard is usually dusty and filled with large slabs of stone waiting to be moved. It’s heavy work and the sun can be quite strong out here in the open. We have a small office on the site where we handle the paperwork, but most of the action happens outside. You can hear the sounds of machinery and the clinking of stone against stone quite often. We don’t have a polished showroom with bright lights. The marble is just there in its natural state for people to see. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the blocks and making sure things are loaded correctly. It’s a straightforward business. We show people what we have in stock and they decide what they want for their floors or counters. The staff here has been working with stone for a long time, so we know a bit about the different types of marble. It’s a rough environment, not a corporate office. We wear boots and work clothes because that’s what the job requires. It’s just a group of us working hard at the yard near the highway to get the orders out on time for the builders and homeowners who need them.
