Rajouri Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out in Nagrota, specifically in the Tanoni area near the Zairat. We operate out of Shabir Ahmed’s place. Rajouri is a beautiful place, but farming here takes a lot of grit. We are just a group of local people who came together to help each other out with agricultural stuff. Our "About Us" isn't written by some professional agency. It’s just us telling you where we are and what we do. The office is a simple room where we keep our files and meet up after a day in the fields. It’s usually a bit messy because there’s always something going on. We talk about livestock, crops, and how to get better prices at the mandi. Being near the Zairat means it’s a familiar landmark for everyone around here. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to make sure the farmers in our community have a bit more support. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to finish our work by candlelight, but that’s just how it is in this part of the world. We are proud of where we come from and the work we do. It’s not always pretty, and we make mistakes, but we’re all in this together. If you’re ever in Nagrota, you’ll find us there, probably discussing the next harvest or complaining about the cost of supplies.
