We are based out in the village of Indamara, right along the G.E. Road. It is quite a drive from the main city area, but this is where Abis Exports India has been rooted for a long time. Being out here in the village means we have plenty of space, which is something we definitely need for our daily operations. We deal with poultry and feed, so the whole place has a very agricultural feel to it. It is not always the cleanest or most pleasant-smelling job, as anyone who has worked with grain or livestock will tell you. The air smells like the countryside, and there is almost always a large truck being loaded or unloaded near the entrance. Our office is very practical and maybe a little bit dated, but it serves its purpose. We don't believe in spending money on fancy furniture or decorations when there is real work to be done out in the plant. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages and have been with us for years. We have grown quite a bit over time, but at its heart, it still feels like a local family operation. On summer days, the heat can be really intense out here on the road, but we just keep the fans running and get on with our tasks. We don't go for big speeches about what we do. We just focus on the animals and the production day by day.
