Swaminarayan Gurukul Hospital

Our hospital, Swaminarayan Gurukul Hospital, is located right near the railway crossing on Gondal Road. You can hear the trains passing by quite clearly throughout the day, which becomes a familiar sound after a while. We are closely connected to the Gurukul, so there is often a sense of quiet and discipline around the grounds. The building is functional, designed to handle a lot of people without much fuss. We have general wards and some specialized areas too. The garden outside is kept quite neat, and you’ll often see people sitting there in the mornings before it gets too hot. We serve a lot of people from the surrounding areas who need affordable care. The staff is mostly local, and we have a routine that starts early in the morning with prayers and then moves into the medical rounds. We use a lot of traditional methods alongside the regular hospital stuff. The floors are tiled and we spend a lot of time keeping them clean. It’s not a place where you’ll find much in the way of decoration. It’s built for service. Sometimes it gets very crowded, especially on the days when we have special clinics for the public. We just take it one patient at a time and try to keep things moving as best as we are able to do. The sound of the crossing bell is how we tell the time sometimes.
