Studio Shree & Beauty Parlour

We’ve been here at Shop No 4 for a while now. It’s on University Road, right across from Ramkrishna Dairy. People mostly find us because of the dairy nearby. The shop is in Jayaram 4. It’s a small place but we keep it tidy. Mostly we do hair and basic beauty stuff. Sometimes it gets busy in the afternoons when the students come by from the nearby colleges. We have a few chairs and some mirrors that have been here since we first opened our doors. It’s not a fancy place at all, just a regular parlour where people come to get a simple haircut or maybe a facial. Usually, the lights are bright and there is some local music playing softly in the background. We know most of the neighbors around here now. Sometimes someone drops in just to say hello or have a quick chat while they are waiting for their milk at the dairy across the street. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we spend a lot of our time sweeping and cleaning up. It is just honest, daily work for us. We try to keep the scissors sharp and the towels as clean as possible. If you are walking down University Road, you will see our sign hanging out front. It is nothing too big or flashy. Just a local spot for local people. We open up early and stay until the evening. The ceiling fans keep it cool enough during the summer months. It has been a good journey so far in Rajkot. We really like being part of this particular street. There is always something happening outside.
