Global Beauty Parler

The shop is called Global Beauty Parler and we are located at 302/Shidhivinayak on the Madhapar Main Road. It is quite easy to find if you know where the government godown is, as we are right near it. This part of Rajkot, the 360006 area, stays busy with traffic all day long. I remember when we first moved into this space in Madhapar; the walls needed a lot of paint and we had to fix the plumbing for the hair wash station. Now it feels like a proper work space. We have a few mirrors and the usual chairs for the clients. It is on the third floor, so you have to walk up or take the lift, but most people don't mind the trip. The view from the window shows the main road and all the trucks going by the godown. We spend most of our time doing regular stuff like hair cutting and some skin treatments. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the curtains drawn a bit. We are just a few people working here, trying to make a living and keeping the place tidy. Most customers are from the nearby apartments. They come in after work or on their days off. We don't have a big reception desk or anything, just a small table where we keep the register and some old magazines for people to read while they wait. My cousin helps me out on the weekends.
