Smit Beauty Parlour

We are located in Jaljeet Society, right on the main road of the 150 Feet Ring Road. It’s a very busy part of Rajkot, especially near Gokuldham. Smit Beauty Parlour has been here for a bit now. You can't miss the 150 Feet Ring Road because there is always traffic moving fast. Being in Jaljeet Society makes us easy to find for anyone living in the 360005 area. The shop is pretty straightforward. We have a few chairs and some mirrors. I spend most of my day standing and working on people's hair or skin. The noise from the ring road is something you get used to after a while. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in, so I’m always wiping down the counters. Local women from the society come in quite often. They usually want something simple done before they go to a party or a family gathering. We don’t have fancy coffee or waiting rooms. There are just a few plastic chairs for waiting. I like it this way because it feels more like a community spot. People talk about their families and their kids while I work. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. During the holidays, we stay open late because everyone wants to look nice. It’s a lot of work but I don’t mind. It keeps me busy and I like my customers. It is just a normal business for normal people.
