Shrungar Hair Parlour

Shrungar Hair Parlour is located inside the Rahul Complex at Palang Chowk. This is in the Kevdawadi area of Rajkot. It's a busy little corner of the city. We’ve been operating out of this complex for several years now. The shop is cozy, some might say small, but it fits everything we need to do our work. We have the usual barber chairs and a small bench for people who are waiting their turn. Kevdawadi is a place where people look out for each other, and we try to be a part of that. We see a lot of the same faces every few weeks. It’s nice when someone walks in and we already know exactly how they like their hair cut. We don't use any fancy computer systems to keep track of anything; it's all just done the old-fashioned way. The mirrors are large and cover most of one wall. We keep our combs in jars and our towels are always being washed. It’s a simple, honest shop. There’s no pressure here. You just come in, get what you need, and go about your day. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long, but we don't rush the work either. It’s a balance we’ve learned over a long time.
