Shri Dharamajivandasji Hospital

Our hospital is right on Gondal Road, very close to where the railway crossing is located. You can hear the trains passing by at all hours of the day and night. It has just become part of the background noise for us now. When the gates go down, the traffic piles up outside and we can see the whole mess from our front window. It is a very busy part of the city. People come to this hospital for all kinds of reasons, from minor things to more serious issues. We are not a massive corporate place with fancy lobbies; we are just a local hospital on the road that has been here for a long time. The building is simple and practical. We have our wards and the doctors have their small offices for consultations. We spend a lot of time walking up and down the hallways. Dealing with sickness and injuries isn't always pretty, but it is what we do. The staff is mostly local people who know the Gondal Road area very well. We usually eat our lunch together when there is a quiet moment in the day. It is an honest way to make a living. The railway crossing can be a bit of a hassle for the ambulances sometimes, but we make it work. Most people know us simply as the place near the tracks. We just keep the lights on and the floors swept.
