Shree Maruti General Store

Shree Maruti General Store is located right by the Jivraj Park Gate in Mota Mava. We are also quite close to the Speed Well Party Plot, which is a big landmark around here. It’s a well-known area in Rajkot. When there’s a wedding or a function at the party plot, it gets really busy around the shop. People come in for small things they forgot to bring, like safety pins, batteries, or extra snacks. Mota Mava has changed a lot over the years with more apartment buildings coming up. Our shop is easy to find because we are right near the gate. We carry the basic household stuff that families need. It’s mostly things for the kitchen or cleaning supplies. I spend my days mostly sitting near the entrance so I can see people coming in and out. The shop isn't modern or fancy. It has these old wooden shelves that we’ve had since we opened. It smells like a mix of spices and laundry soap inside most of the time. We don’t have a website or any online presence. If people want something, they just walk in and ask me. It’s simple and it works for us. Sometimes we have a long chat about the local news or how much the rain messed up the roads. It makes the day go faster. The Speed Well Party Plot brings in a lot of outsiders.
