Sardar Casting Pvt. Ltd. is located at Survey No. 13 on the road between Vavdi and Kangasiyali. We’re right across from the Automotive place on Gondal Road in Rajkot. If you know Rajkot, you know this part of town is all about metal and machinery. Our foundry is a hot place, especially when the furnaces are running at full tilt. You can hear the sound of metal clanging from the street. It’s heavy work and everyone goes home tired at the end of the shift. The dust from the road and the soot from the casting process mean we’re always cleaning something, though it never stays clean for long. We’ve been at this location for quite some time now. Our workers are mostly local guys who have been doing this kind of work since they were young. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Word gets around by people just talking. The road out here to Kangasiyali can get pretty rough with all the heavy trucks, so we’ve learned to drive carefully. Sometimes a mold doesn’t turn out right and we have to start over, but that’s just part of the business. We don't make big promises; we just try to get the metal poured and the parts finished on time. It’s honest, sweaty work and we’re okay with that.
