People usually find us because we are right across from Virani High School. It gets pretty loud when the kids come out of school, but that is just part of being on the Main Road in Virani Chowk. We are on the ground floor of the Smruti building. It is a simple place. We have been here for some time now and most of our customers are folks who live nearby or parents waiting for their children. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to park, but people manage to find a spot. Inside, it is just us doing our work. We do not have any fancy lights or big signs. The chairs are old but comfortable enough for a quick trim. Often, neighbors stop by just to say hello even if they do not need a haircut today. We keep the doors open to let some air in when it is not too dusty outside. Working in Rajkot means dealing with the heat, so we try to keep things cool enough with the fans. It is not a big corporate shop where everything is perfect. Sometimes we run out of tea or the floor needs another sweep, but we get the job done. Most days start early and we stay until the evening rush on the main road dies down. It is a decent living and we know a lot of the faces that walk through the door. It is just a normal part of the local life here.
