Sankalp Bandhej

Sankalp Bandhej is situated in Oswal Colony No. 1. We are on Summer Club Road and the best way to find us is to look for Dr. Dongar's Hospital nearby. It’s a much calmer area than the big textile markets in the center of the city. We appreciate the bit of peace we get here. The shop is part of a residential-looking street so it doesn't feel like a cold business area. We have a small porch area where we sometimes sit in the evening when the work is done. Most of our day is spent handling the bandhej work and making sure everything is counted correctly. We don't have a big staff. It is a small family-run kind of thing. The space inside is filled with the smell of fabric and dyes. We have been in Oswal Colony for quite some time now and the neighbors all know us. It’s a simple walk-in place. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. People just come by when they need something. The building is a bit old and the doors sometimes creak when you open them. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch, but usually, we close up at a decent hour. It is a quiet existence on Summer Club Road and it suits us just fine.
