Sagar Gents Saloon

The saloon is located inside Keshav Complex, which is at Jayraj Plot-7 on Canal Road in Rajkot. A good landmark for finding us is the ICICI ATM that sits right across the street from the complex. Canal Road is always full of traffic, so there is a constant sound of bikes and cars honking outside. Once you come inside the complex, it gets a lot quieter. We have a few chairs that have been with us for a long time, so they look a bit used but they work fine. The walls have some older tiles and the paint is a bit faded in the corners. We keep our combs in jars of liquid and the clippers are usually lined up on the counter ready to go. The lighting is okay, though we have a couple of extra bulbs we turn on when it gets dark outside. There is a small sink in the back for washing hair and the tap drips a little bit if you don't turn the handle just right. We have a small TV in the corner and we usually keep it on the news or a cricket match if there is one playing. Sometimes people just stop in to see the score for a minute. We open up the shutters every morning and stay through the heat of the day. It is just a standard gents saloon with no fancy extras. We just do the work and keep the place running as best as we can.
