Rose Hair Parlour

You will find Rose Hair Parlour over in Vrundavan Society. It is house number A/50, right on Trasiyo Road which connects to Pedak Road. We are sitting right opposite the Padek Gate, so it is a landmark everyone knows around here. Being inside a residential society makes the vibe different than the shops on the big main roads. It feels more like being part of a family. We see the same people every day walking their dogs or going to the market. The shop itself is not very large, but it is enough for what we do. We have a couple of chairs and the usual mirrors. Sometimes the neighbor's kids pop their heads in to see what is happening. We do not use any big marketing tricks. Our sign is simple and people know us by word of mouth mostly. On weekends, it gets a bit crowded and people have to wait their turn, but nobody seems to mind much. They just chat with each other while they wait. The air in the shop usually smells like talcum powder and aftershave. We keep the windows shut when the dust from Pedak Road blows in, but otherwise, we like to keep it open. It is a steady place to work and we like being here in this part of Rajkot. Every day is pretty much the same, and we are fine with that. We just keep the scissors moving and the floor swept.
