Things stay pretty busy here at Raviraj Plastics on Survey No. 214. We are set up across Plot No. 2 and 3, which gives us just enough room to keep the machines running. It isn’t a quiet place by any means. From the moment the gates open, you can hear the hum of the equipment. We work with plastics all day, so there is always that specific smell in the air. Our team is small but they know exactly what they are doing. Most of us live nearby and have been coming to this same spot for a long time now. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or polished floors. It’s a factory through and through. The walls have some marks and the floors get scuffed up from moving heavy loads around. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the yard because we have so much material sitting out, but we manage to make it work. We spend our days watching the production lines and making sure everything looks right before it gets packed up. It is hot work, especially in the summer months, but nobody complains much. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the machines don’t break down at the wrong time. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of dust, just finishing up another long shift at the plot.
