Rameshwar Hair Art

Our shop, Rameshwar Hair Art, is situated on Morbi Main Road. We are quite close to the Jakat Naka, so you see a lot of trucks and big vehicles moving in and out of Rajkot. It gets quite noisy and the air can be a bit heavy with exhaust sometimes. The shop itself is just a straightforward place. We have the standard chairs that lean back for shaves. The mirrors are large enough so you can see what’s happening. We keep the towels in a stack over by the sink. It’s not a place where people come to relax for hours; they usually just want to get their hair shortened and go back to work. We have a small television in the corner, but usually, it just stays on the news channel with the volume turned down low. The floor is often a bit scuffed from all the boots coming in. Morbi Road is a busy place, and we try to keep up with the pace. When the sun goes down, the lights from the Jakat Naka make the whole area look different. We usually close up once the main rush of the evening is over. There’s nothing special about the way we work, we just do what needs to be done for the folks who stop in. It’s a good spot for a shop because everyone has to pass by here sooner or later, and we are always around.
