You can find us at Shop No-5 on Mavdi Main Road. We are right across from Indra Prast Hall, near Mavdi Chokdi. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always noise from the traffic and people walking by. We open up early to get the shelves stocked with whatever came in the night before. Bags of rice, soaps, snacks, and all the usual things people need for their houses are kept here. The shop isn't huge, so we have to stack things pretty high to make everything fit. Sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble when a lot of customers come in at once after work hours. We spend a lot of time counting inventory and making sure nothing has run out at Radhika Department. The floor gets dusty because of the main road right outside, so we are constantly sweeping. Opposite us, the hall usually has something going on, which brings even more people to the area. We know most of the regulars who live around Mavdi Chokdi. They stop in for a single item and end up chatting for a few minutes. It is just a basic neighborhood store. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Just shelves full of goods and a counter where we take the cash. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the breeze from the door helps a bit. That's our daily routine here.
