Our place is Unit No 03 right on the Shapar Main Road. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty busy with all the vehicles passing through. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite some time, handling the daily mix of paints and polymers. The air usually has that faint chemical smell to it, which we’ve all grown used to by now. It’s a small team here, just a few of us making sure the containers are filled and the labels are put on straight. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It's mostly just us answering the phone and checking the inventory in the back. The floor is stained with about a dozen different colors from spills over the years, but that's just part of being a paint shop. We try to keep things moving efficiently, but sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a pump or a mixer. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. People stop in occasionally asking for directions because we're so easy to find on the main stretch. We just point them the right way and get back to the barrels. It’s honest work and we keep at it day in and day out, making sure the orders are ready for whenever the transport arrives to pick them up.
