Priyesh Cotton Pvt. Ltd. is located over at Survey No. 262, right near Patidar Ceramic. If you come by during the harvest season, you’ll see white fluff everywhere. Cotton is a messy business, and it gets into everything—our hair, our clothes, and even the corners of the office. We spend our days dealing with large bales and the machinery that processes the fibers. It’s a very physical job. We have a lot of local workers who have been with us for a long time. They know the rhythm of the machines and how to spot a problem just by the sound of the motor. The yard is usually packed with trucks waiting to unload or pick up the finished goods. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult; if it’s too humid, the cotton acts differently, so we have to adjust. We don't have any fancy mission statements or polished brochures. We just buy the cotton, process it, and move it out. The building is a big warehouse-style structure that gets quite hot in the afternoon sun. We usually take a long break when the sun is at its highest and then work late into the evening. It’s a noisy, dusty environment, but it’s what we know. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there; we just want to keep the operations running smoothly at our spot near the ceramic factory.
