Bhagat Ornaments

Our place, Bhagat Ornaments, is located on Sant Kabir Road, right across from Raiyaraj Sales and near the Panjrapor. You can usually tell when someone is walking in because the bell on the door makes a very specific clanking sound. It is not a fancy bell, just something we hung there years ago. The shop is well-known to the locals, even if we do not spend much on big signs. We have a lot of items on the walls, and the wooden counters are starting to show their age now. They have scratches from years of use, but they are sturdy. We spend a lot of time talking with the other business owners on this street. It is a friendly neighborhood. If the weather is decent, we leave the front door open, but the dust from the road can be a bit much sometimes. Most of the work happens at a small desk in the corner where the light is best. There is always a stack of boxes waiting to be sorted through. It is not the biggest shop on Sant Kabir Road, but it serves us well. Sometimes the cows from the Panjrapor wander close to the storefront, which is just a normal part of life in this area. We like the slow rhythm of the day here and how the street changes from morning to night.
