Nilesh Hair Art

Our shop, Nilesh Hair Art, is located inside the N N C House on the Main Road of Amin Marg. It is a pretty well-known road in Rajkot, so finding us is usually not a big problem for most people. We are right across from Yash Stationary. I remember when we first opened here, the street was a lot quieter than it is today. Now there are so many cars and bikes everywhere. We spend most of our days here cutting hair and talking to whoever walks in. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most of our tools are the ones we’ve used for years because they still work fine. We aren't interested in all those new gadgets that people talk about online. A good pair of scissors and a steady hand are what matter in this business. My brother works with me here. We open early in the morning and stay until the last customer is done. Sometimes that means we get home quite late. It can be tiring, but that is just how it is when you run your own place. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but we try to keep the same vibe in our shop. People come in to chat as much as they do for a trim. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. Just a few chairs and an old newspaper on the table. It’s simple, and that’s how we like it. The mirrors are a bit spotted with age, but you can still see your reflection well enough to know the job is done right.
