New Raj Hair Dresser

If you go toward the water tank on Pedak Road, you will find New Raj Hair Dresser. We are right across from Luxury Cold Drinks, which is a popular spot, especially when the weather gets hot and everyone wants something cold. Our shop has been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed around us, but we stay pretty much the same. It’s a classic hair dresser setup. We have the stools for the kids and the larger chairs for the adults. Pedak Road is a busy street, so there is always noise from the traffic and the people walking by. We do a lot of haircuts every day. Some people want the same style they’ve had for twenty years, and others want something they saw on TV. We try to do what they ask for without much fuss. The shop isn't very large, so things can get a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind. We have a small TV that is usually on some news channel or a cricket match to keep people busy. The floor is old but we keep it swept as much as we can. It is a practical place. We don't have fancy brochures or a website. We just rely on the fact that we have been here a long time and people know where to find us. When the day is done, we wash the towels and get ready for the next day.
