Neskeb Wires & Cables

We are situated at Plot No. 2, Survey No. 161, along the SIDC Road in Shapar. Our unit is right across from the old Gulab Mill in Veraval. It is a heavy industrial zone, so there is always the sound of machinery and the smell of factory smoke in the air. We make wires and cables, which means the floor is always covered in big wooden reels and scrap bits of plastic. The shed is quite large and it gets very hot in the afternoons under the corrugated roof. We wear heavy boots and keep our sleeves rolled up. There is a small cabin built into one corner where we do the billing and take phone calls. The road outside is full of potholes and gets very dusty when the big trucks drive past. We have a tea break twice a day, and we usually get it from the small stall just down the road. Most of the workers have been here a long time and we all know how the machines like to act up sometimes. We don't have any fancy signs or a website that we look at. We just spend our time making sure the cable is wound properly and the orders are loaded onto the trucks correctly. It’s just honest, physical work in a tough part of the industrial district.
