N M Virani Gen Hospital

N M Virani Gen Hospital is situated on Kalawad Road, right near Sant Marry School. If you are driving down Kalawad Road, you can’t really miss us. It’s a busy area, especially when the school is starting or letting out, and the noise from the street definitely reaches our front doors. We are a general hospital, which means we see just about everything that comes our way. The building has been around for some time, so it has that lived-in feel that older hospitals get. Our floors are polished every night, but by midday, they’re covered in footprints from all the visitors and staff. We have a lot of different departments, but everyone sort of knows each other, which makes the long shifts a bit easier to handle. The canteen has tea and snacks, and that’s usually where you’ll find the doctors catching a quick break. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations, just the things we need to take care of the people who walk through the doors. Sometimes the waiting rooms get a bit crowded, and we have to bring out extra stools. It’s a busy, noisy, and very real place to work. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done and making sure the patients are as comfortable as they can be in a hospital.
