Montu Hair Parlour

We have been here at Gayatri Dham on Jamnagar Road for a good while now. It’s just a small place where people from around Rajkot come when they need their hair done. Most days start early, usually opening up the shutters and getting the towels ready. The shop isn't fancy or anything, but it works for what we do. You can find us right near the main road. Sometimes it gets a bit busy, especially on weekends when everyone has time off. We just have a few chairs and some mirrors, the basic stuff you expect in a hair parlour. We see a lot of the same faces every month, guys from the neighborhood mostly. They sit down, tell us what they want, and we get to work. It’s nice being in this part of town. The traffic on Jamnagar Road is always moving, but inside it stays pretty steady. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here. If the seat is empty, you just walk in. If not, there’s a bench to wait on for a bit. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the job at hand. We often have the fan going to keep it cool during the hot afternoons. It’s a regular routine of cutting, trimming, and keeping the floor clean between customers. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day. No big story, just a local spot for a haircut.
