Monika Beauty Center

Monika Beauty Center is situated on the ground floor of Kothari Complex, right on the Main Road in Gunawadi. Being on the ground floor is really helpful for our older customers because they don't have to worry about any stairs. We are in a very busy part of Rajkot, so there is always something going on outside our window. The shop is quite modest in size, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. We do all the standard beauty work like threading, waxing, and hair cutting. It is a place for the local women to come and relax for a bit while they get their work done. We don't have any fancy corporate branding or anything like that. I’ve lived in this area for a long time and many of my customers are also my friends. We talk about our families and what’s happening in the neighborhood while I work on their hair or skin. The walls are painted a simple color and we have a small area where people can sit and wait their turn. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Saturday afternoons, and the shop feels very full. We just keep working through the list of people. We don't have a big staff, so it’s a very personal kind of business. We just do our best every day and hope people are satisfied with the results we provide for them.
