Metro Hair Salon And Tattoo Studio is on the first floor of the Dharam Complex. We are in Shop No. 2, right on Prahlad Main Road in the Karanpara area. Being near Karanpara Chowk, we get a lot of foot traffic. We decided to do both hair and tattoos because that’s what we’re good at. It’s a bit of a mix, but it works for the crowd here in Rajkot. The shop has a different feel than a regular salon because of the tattoo equipment. We have posters on the walls and the smell of ink sometimes. It’s on the first floor, so you have to come up the stairs to find us. Prahlad Main Road is one of those old, busy streets where there’s always something going on. We see young guys mostly, looking for a new style or some ink. We don’t use any corporate scripts when people walk in. We just say hello and get to work. The shop is a bit noisy with the tattoo machines and the street sounds, but we like the vibe. We’ve been in Karanpara for a bit now and know the local shopkeepers. We aren't looking to expand into some big chain. We just want to keep doing hair and tattoos for the people who like our style. It’s a simple business. We take our time with each person so nobody feels rushed while they sit with us.
