Meera Export

Meera Export is located out at the Meera Industrial Society. We are at Plot No. 104, right by the Rajkot By Pass. It’s a good spot because we are near the Aji River, though you can’t always see it from the workshop. The area is full of other industrial units, so there is always a lot of activity and noise. We spend a lot of our time checking boxes and making sure the labels for the exports are correct. It’s a lot of detail work that can get a bit tiring after a few hours. The sun really beats down on the bypass, so it stays pretty warm in our building. We have some big fans that help a little bit. We started this because we wanted to see our products go to different places. It’s interesting to think that something we pack here in Rajkot ends up in a whole different country. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of workers. We are just a small team that knows each other well. We have lunch together in a small corner of the plot. Sometimes we have issues with the transport trucks being late, but we just deal with it. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to get the orders out on time so we can go home to our families. It’s practical work for practical people.
