Mayflower Beauty Salon

Mayflower Beauty Salon is tucked away in Shreenathji Society. If you know Amin Marg in Rajkot, we are right behind the Panchavati Community Hall. It is a bit quieter back here than on the main road, which is nice. We started this salon because there weren't many places close by for the ladies in the society. We do all the usual things like threading and hair stuff. The room isn't very big but we make it work. We have some old posters on the walls and a few plants by the window. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks a lot, but we are used to it by now. The 360001 area is a good place to be. We get a lot of women coming in before weddings at the community hall. It gets very hectic during the marriage season. We end up staying late and drinking way too much chai. My sister helps me out when things get busy. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just talk to each other and that’s how they find us. We use the products that we know work well. Nothing too expensive or fancy. It is just a regular salon where you can come and relax for a bit while we work. We try to keep the place tidy but with hair and powder, it is a constant job. That is just how it goes for a small business like ours. We are usually here every day.
