Our place is in the Saramsadhana Building, over in Mombasa Park along the 150 Feet Ring Road. We are tucked behind where Gujarat Travels is. It is a very busy area of Rajkot because of all the people traveling. We get people who are just getting off a long bus ride or waiting for their next one. The shop is a decent size. We have some posters on the wall and the usual equipment. Because we are near the travel office, there is always luggage being moved around and people talking loudly outside. Inside, we try to keep it a bit calmer for the people in the chairs. We have been working here for a few years now. The water pressure sometimes acts up, but we have a small tank to handle it. We do haircuts and beard trims mostly. It is a lot of standing on your feet all day, but we are used to it. The 150 Feet Ring Road never really stops, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background. We have some regulars from the building and the offices nearby. It is just a normal shop doing normal work. We keep the scissors sharp and the towels clean. That is about all there is to it. Sometimes someone comes in with a specific idea from a magazine, and we do our best.
