Our office is on the first floor of Christ Camp, right by 1 Jalaram Chowk. It’s very close to Kotecha Chowk on University Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with students and people going to the shops. Kunvarji Commodities has been in this spot for a bit. The office has big windows, but we usually keep the blinds pulled because the afternoon sun hits them hard. There are a few of us here, mostly staring at screens and talking on the phones. It gets loud when the markets are moving fast. You can hear the traffic from University Road all day long. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, and it’s usually the messiest part of the whole place. The floor is that old tile that never really looks clean no matter how much you scrub it. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and notes pinned up everywhere. It’s a practical space for what we do. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we just take the stairs to the first floor. It’s not a long walk anyway. We spend a lot of time checking numbers and making sure the paperwork is right. It’s a lot of sitting down, so we try to stand up and stretch when we can. It’s just a regular job in a busy part of town, and we usually wrap things up by six. We often see the same people walking their dogs outside when we are leaving the building.
