Khushi Art Gallery

You can find us at 206 Krishna Con-Arch, which is right across from the Metro Restaurant on University Road. It is a lively part of town because of the students and the shops nearby. Khushi Art Gallery is where we keep all the pieces we have collected over the years. It is not a huge gallery, just a few rooms where we hang frames and stack canvases. We spend a lot of time dusting the frames and moving things around to make more room. Sometimes the light coming in from the windows is just right, and other times we have to use the overhead lamps to see clearly. It is a bit of a squeeze when we get a new shipment of art in. We usually have to lean things against the walls until we find a permanent spot for them. People wander in every now and then just to look around. We don't mind at all. It is nice to have some company while we are working on the inventory. The building itself is pretty standard for University Road. We have been here for a while and know the staff at the restaurant across the street. We often go there for a quick bite when we are too busy to go far. Working with art is mostly about keeping things organized and making sure nothing gets damaged. We do a lot of packing and unpacking. It is a quiet life. (251 words)
