You can find us at Rasayan Ghar, located at Kotharia Naka Chowk. We are right near Soni Bazar, which is one of the busiest spots you can imagine. The sounds of the market are always in the background here at Chemdyes Corporation. Being near Soni Bazar means there is always a crowd outside, and the smell of food from the street stalls drifts in sometimes. We deal with dyes and chemicals, so the office can get a bit cluttered with samples and jars. It’s an old part of the city, and our building has that lived-in feel to it. The stairs are narrow and the rooms aren't perfectly square, but it’s home for us. We spend our days talking to suppliers and checking on orders. It’s a lot of detail work. Sometimes we have to run out into the chowk to meet someone or pick up a delivery. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit and tie. We just wear what’s comfortable and get on with the job. The staff has been around for years, so we don't need to explain much to each other anymore. We know the business of colors and dyes inside out. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the paper and samples, but that’s the nature of working with these materials. We just keep plugging away at it, right in the middle of the local chaos.
