B. B. Colour Chem

Our unit, B. B. Colour Chem, is at Door No-13 in the Galaxy Industrial Estate. We are situated right off the Gondal Highway in Shapar (Veraval). Being so near the highway means there is always a layer of dust on everything, so we are constantly wiping down the desks and the equipment. It’s a very industrial setting with a lot of other factories making everything from auto parts to plastics nearby. We specialize in colors and chemicals, so you might see some interesting pigments if you walk through the storage area in the back. The space is simple—some big mixing machines, rows of drums, and a small office area tucked in the corner for the paperwork. We don't have air conditioning in the main work area, just some big exhaust fans that rattle a bit when they are turned on high. We usually start the day with a quick check of the orders that came in overnight. The guys here are used to the heat and the hard physical work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world; we just want to make sure the stuff we send out is what the customer asked for. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to finishing the batches. By the time the sun starts to go down over the highway, we are usually finishing up the cleaning and locking the front gates. It’s a long day, but it feels good to see the trucks loaded.
