You can find Kishor Hair Dresser right on Yagnik Road. It is a very busy street in Rajkot, probably one of the busiest. We are directly opposite D H College. Because of the college, we get a lot of young guys coming in for a haircut between their classes. But we also have older men who have been coming to this shop since before the college students were even born. The shop has been here for a long time. We have the old-style chairs that are actually quite comfortable once you sit in them. The mirrors are big and they have seen a lot of faces over the years. We use scissors, clippers, and the straight razor for shaves. Yagnik Road is always noisy with horns and people shouting, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on the hair. We don't have any fancy machines or anything, just our hands and our tools. Sometimes there is a wait for a chair, so people just sit and read the newspaper or talk. It is a traditional kind of place. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just provide a place for men to get their hair cut and maybe a quick shave before they go about their day.
