Kirti Saloon

Our saloon is in the Jinpara Chowk area of Wankaner. We are very close to the Vishvakarma Temple, so we hear the temple bells throughout the day. Wankaner is a place where people know their neighbors, and our shop is a bit of a meeting spot for the local men. We have been here for a long time, and the shop has a lot of history in its walls. It is a very simple setup with a few chairs and the basic tools for barbering. We don't do anything very modern or fancy. If you want a traditional shave or a standard haircut, that is what we do. We take pride in the fact that we have been part of this community for so many years. Some of our customers have been coming here since they were boys. We talk about the weather, the crops, and whatever else is going on in the chowk. It’s a small space and it can get a bit dusty when the wind blows through the square, but that is just part of being in an old town. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. People just know we are here by the temple. We work long hours, especially on holy days when the chowk is full of people. It is a simple life and we like being part of the daily routine in Wankaner. We just provide a reliable service to our friends and neighbors.
