Kiran Beauty Shop

Kiran Beauty Shop is located at 3 Gundawadi. This part of Rajkot is always humming with activity. We are tucked into a small space that fits just enough for us to work. Being in Gundawadi means we see a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. The shop has been here long enough that we don't really think about the address anymore, it just feels like home. We have shelves with various bits and pieces we use every day. The lighting inside is okay, though we added an extra lamp in the corner for when it gets dark early in the winter. We don't have any flashy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and a few pictures. Most of our customers are women from the nearby houses who have been coming to us for years. They know where we keep the water and where to sit. It’s the kind of place where the door is usually open unless it’s raining. We spend the morning setting everything up and the evening putting it all away. It is honest work and we enjoy seeing the same people week after week. The area is crowded but it has a good energy to it. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if someone is running behind, but usually we like to get home when the sun goes down.
