Kalarav Hospital

Kalarav Hospital is located in the Sephyar Building on Kalavad Road in Rajkot. If you have ever driven down Kalavad Road, you know it is one of the busiest parts of the city. Being in the Sephyar Building means we are right in the thick of things. The hospital has several floors, and the lobby is usually where you will find me or one of the other staff members. We have a lot of glass windows, so it gets quite bright in the afternoons. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it is really hot outside, but we make do. We have different sections for different medical needs. Most of our patients are from Rajkot, but some travel from the smaller towns nearby. It is a lot of walking back and forth between the rooms. We try to keep the records organized, but the filing cabinets are getting pretty full. The staff stays busy with the daily routines of checking vitals and talking to families. We do not have a fancy coffee machine, but there is a good stall just outside the building. It is a straightforward operation here. We just come in, do our shifts, and go home. There is always something to fix or a lightbulb to change, but that is just part of running a place like this on a busy road.
