Jayraj Traders

If you're looking for Jayraj Traders, we’re right on Gondal Road. We are situated right across from Kothari Hospital, tucked behind where they have the Tulip Party events. It can be a bit tricky to find us the first time because of the big buildings around, but once you see the hospital, you’re basically there. We’ve been trading here for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of town so there’s always noise from the street. Our space is filled with stacks of stuff and the smell of whatever we are moving that week. We don't have a lot of space for a showroom, so things are mostly piled up. We keep a ledger on the main table and usually have a radio playing in the background. My cousin helps me out with the loading and unloading when things get busy. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just handle things face to face or over the phone. Sometimes the rain makes the road behind Tulip Party a bit muddy, which is a pain for the trucks. But we manage to keep things moving. It is a straightforward business, no frills or anything special. We just buy and sell and try to make sure everyone is treated fairly. We close up early on Saturdays to spend time at home. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years and they know the routine. It works out fine for everyone involved.
