Jay Momai Hair Parlor

Jay Momai Hair Parlor is our little spot out on Morbi Road, right near the Jakat Naka area of Rajkot. It’s a part of town that sees a lot of trucks and people coming in and out of the city. We have been here for a while, and it's a place for a simple haircut or a shave. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a room with some mirrors and chairs that have seen better days but are still comfortable enough. We open up the shop in the morning and usually the first few customers are people on their way to work. The dust from Morbi Road can be a bit much sometimes, so we are always wiping down the counters and sweeping the front entrance. We don't have any staff besides ourselves, so it’s a very personal operation. If you come here, you know exactly who is going to be doing the work. We like the independence of running our own place. Most of the talk in the shop is about local news or how the traffic is on the road today. There’s no pressure here, just a place to sit down for twenty minutes and get your hair sorted. We have a small TV sometimes playing in the corner, but mostly it's just us and the customers. It’s a honest day’s work in a busy part of Rajkot. We plan to stay right here at Jakat Naka for a long time yet.
