Jalaram Furniture

Our shop is located in Khodiyar Nagar on the main road. If you go behind the S. T. Workshop, you’ll see us there pretty easily. Jalaram Furniture is where we spend most of our time, surrounded by wood planks, sandpaper, and sawdust. It’s a bit of a noisy place with the saws going all morning, but we don’t mind it. We’ve been making tables, chairs, and cupboards for the neighborhood for a long time. People just walk in and tell us what they need for their homes. We don't have a big glossy catalog or a fancy showroom with bright lights and mirrors. Most of the stuff we make is sitting right there in the front of the workshop. Sometimes we are busy finishing a big order, so there might be pieces of wood and tools everywhere. We use basic tools mostly, and it's a simple setup. If a customer wants a specific size for a bed or a shelf, we just measure it out and get to work on it. The tea stall nearby is where we take our breaks and talk to the neighbors. It’s a humble business, and we prefer it that way. Living and working in the same area means we know almost everyone who walks past the door. We aren't trying to be the biggest furniture store in the city. We just want to make things that last and keep the shop running every day. Come by anytime if you want to see what we are building.
