Honest Hair Saloon

Honest Hair Saloon is located right in the Meter House building near Trikon Baug. It is just across from Abc Medical, so it is quite easy for people to find us when they are out running errands. The shop itself is not fancy at all. We have the basic chairs, some mirrors that have been here for years, and the usual tools for cutting hair. Every morning starts with me sweeping up the floor and getting the towels ready. By the afternoon, there is usually hair everywhere and the sound of the fan is constant. People from around Rajkot just walk in whenever they need a trim or a shave. We don't really do appointments, so you might have to sit on the bench and wait a little while if we are busy. There is a stack of old newspapers and magazines to look at. The traffic outside the Baug gets pretty loud during the rush hour, but we are used to it by now. Sometimes the water in the sink takes a moment to get warm, but it works fine enough. Most of the people who come here are regulars who live in the neighborhood. We just do straightforward haircuts and keep things simple. It is a practical place where we work until the evening light fades. You will usually find us here six days a week just doing the regular daily work.
