H J Doshi Hospital is located over in Malavia Nagar, right on Gondal Road. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of town because Gondal Road is such a main artery for traffic. We’ve been here for a good long while, watching the area grow and change around us. The hospital itself is a busy place, as you’d expect. We have people coming in at all hours for different things. It’s not a shiny new facility, but it’s sturdy and it serves the purpose. We deal with the daily realities of running a hospital—managing beds, checking in patients, and making sure the doctors are where they need to be. The atmosphere is usually a bit hurried, but we try to keep a sense of calm for the people who are staying with us. Living and working around Malavia Nagar means we see a lot of the same families over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest or most advanced place out there; we just want to provide the care that people in this neighborhood need. The building has seen a lot of history, and you can feel that when you walk through the hallways. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. Every day we just show up and do the work that needs doing for the folks on Gondal Road. That's just how it is around here.
