Guru Hair Care

Our little place is tucked away in Manhar Plot. It's quite close to the Ram Temple, so we get a lot of people stopping in after they visit there. Being in the 360002 part of Rajkot, we see plenty of locals who live just a few streets over. It’s a quiet enough area most days. Inside Guru Hair Care, it is mostly just the sound of scissors and the occasional spray bottle. We don't have those big fancy signs or anything. Just a simple setup with a few mirrors and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We take care of hair for kids, dads, and the older men around here. It’s nice to know people’s names when they walk through the door. Sometimes we run out of tea, or the floor needs a second sweeping because of the wind blowing dust in, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s a basic hair shop where you can get a shave and a haircut and talk about what’s happening in the neighborhood. We try to keep the mirrors clean and the blades sharp. That’s really the main thing for us. If you’re near the temple and need a tidy up, we’re usually around. It’s a steady life here in Manhar Plot, and we’re happy to keep doing what we’re doing without making a big deal out of it.
